Hospice Services
Hospice services are designed to provide support to patients, their families and loved ones where they reside. This can be the home, Long Term Care Facility, Assisted Living, or Hospital.
Who Pays for Hospice?
Hospice services are covered by Medicare, Medi-Cal and most private insurers and HMOs. Admission to Care One Hospice is based on the patient’s needs rather than the ability to pay.
Who Qualifies for Hospice?
Patients whose physicians determine that they may have a life-limiting illness and who chose the comfort care quality of Hospice. Those patients include, but are not limited to, those having diagnoses such as:
